TERMS AND CONDITIONS

AVAILABILITY/PRICING
Prices and availability are subject to change at any time.  A non-refundable $500 deposit must be
received before a horse is considered sold, unless other agreements are made.  If a price quote is
given to an inquirer and someone else puts a deposit down or pays for the horse first, the horse
WILL be sold.  A price quote is NOT the same as an agreement to hold a horse available.

PRE-PURCHASE VETERINARY EXAMS

We encourage all buyers to have a pre-purchase veterinary exam performed prior to purchase.
This is completely at the buyer's discretion, however.  If you would like a pre-purchase exam,
simply select the veterinarian of your choice, and make payment arrangements directly to their
clinic.  If radiographs are requested, we will provide transport to any of the facilities listed at the
bottom of the page for a nominal charge.  Please contact the veterinary office directly for pricing
as it varies according to the tests you would like performed.  Other veterinarians may be used,
but transport fees will be higher to haul longer distances.  Horses sold for $2,500 or more will not
incur a transport fee for a pre-purchase exam.  Deposit must be received on horse prior to
pre-purchase exam being conducted.  Refund of deposit will be made if horse fails veterinary
exam for soundness and purchase is declined, less transport fee.  Standard transport fee to
veterinary offices listed at the bottom of this page is $35.

PAYMENT METHODS
Checks must clear the bank before the horse leaves the property.  Final payments made within 14
days or less of pick up must be made by bank draft or in cash.  Wiring money directly to our bank,
or through a wire service such as Wal-Mart offers, is also acceptable.  All payments due, including
applicable board, must be paid in full before the horse leaves the property.  All payments must be
made payable to MARY BITTNER.   Final payment of the horse is due upon originally scheduled
pick up date.

SALES CONTRACTS
Click HERE to print a written sales contract if you do not wish to have a pre-purchase veterinary
exam performed.
Click HERE to print a written sales contract if the horse has passed veterinary inspection to your
satisfaction.
Sales contracts must be signed and provided before the horse leaves the property.

BOARDING FEES
If buyer is unable to pick up purchased horse after paid for, a boarding agreement will go into
effect.  Click HERE to print a copy of our boarding contract.  Contact me for specific rates as it
varies according to stallion, mare, wet mare, weanling, etc.

FORFEITURE OF MONIES PAID
In the event that buyer cannot be reached or will not respond to make further boarding/payment
arrangements the deposit will be considered forfeited after 45 days from original scheduled date
of pickup and the horse may be resold.  Deposits will be refunded if the horse fails a veterinary
check for soundness.

Seller will provide the first health certificate on the animal being sold if it is going out of state.
Should it expire due to delays in pick up, subsequent health certificates will be the responsibility
