"Page" is an exceptionally nice filly with beautiful
proportions. She has a short back, well angled
shoulder, upright neck, and straight legs. She is
feminine yet has adequate substance. (We like 'em
well muscled here on the farm!) Well bred, she carries
the bloodlines of some of the finest walkers - Coin's
Hard Cash, The Call Judge, Mack K's Handshaker, and Pride of
Midnight. The proof of her quality lies in the beautiful, head
nodding running walk she exhibits at liberty. To see it
though, you must be patient while she goes through her
entire repertoire of spins, rears, bucks, rollbacks, and sliding
stops. This girl plays hard! Page is an exceptionally athletic
foal and her zest for life is unmistakable.
All this and she is SWEET! Her disposition cannot be beat.
She is unquestionably the most confident, friendly, people-
loving foal to ever grace the farm. She is not only in your
pocket, she'd really like to wear your pockets, just to see
how they look. <G> Page is already leading, readily lifts her
feet, enjoys being groomed, and most anything else that
places her at the center of human attention.
We are uncertain as to whether or not she is grulla, or if she is only exhibiting temporary foal
markings called countershading. We think she's pretty no matter what color she is. Whether her
dorsal stripe stays or goes, it's certainly eye catching right now.
This filly's name was modified from the title of the novel She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb. In
this instance the call name "Page" seemed more appropriate than "Paige", hence the spelling.
