JULY 2009
PUSHIN CHAMPAGNE PASSION TO BE EXPORTED TO GERMANY
A lovely amber champagne filly, Pushin Champagne Passion, originally bred and owned by Deer
Creek Walkers, has recently been selected for purchase and export to Germany. Her current
owner is pleased that she will be receiving such a wonderful home, and as Passion's breeder we
are just delighted. Passion will serve as an exemplary ambassador in a country with few gaited
horses. German horsemen are known for their keen eye and attention to conformation,
soundness, good bone, and excellent hoof quality. All of this in addition to Passion's smooth,
natural barefoot walk, and loving disposition enabled her to meet the stringent criteria required
by her purchaser. At Deer Creek we extend our sincere congratulations to Katharina on her
purchase and wish her many happy trails. Also thank you to Diana for the loving home you
provided to Passion once she left our farm, and a thank you to Walkers West for enabling the
sale and arranging the export. Without all of you our lovely girl would never see German soil.
There is also personal joy involved in seeing Passion go to Germany. My father is a native of
Germany, making me at least half German. While Daddy and I are presently unable to go visit the
homeland of our family, I take great satisfaction in sending to Germany a fine representative of
what we produce. Now not only do I dream of visiting Germany with my father, I can add to
that visiting Katharina and Passion while we are there. Just one more way that horses have
unexpectedly broadened my dreams, heightened my goals, and added happiness and satisfaction
to my life!
