MY APACHE MAID
TWHBEA# 983929
d.o.b. 3-29-98
Height: 15.1 hands
Sire: Apache's Roscoe
Dam: Breezy April

"Dixie" is a very elegant mare with moderate bone and
size. She has a spirited disposition and is a senior boss
mare in our herd. She is also the resident baby sitter and
enjoys supervising the foals even when she doesn't have
one of her own. She has striking black and white color, a
long strided walk, and a very refined head. Although
Dixie herself is quite an opinionated mare, her foals
have been uniformly gentle and mellow tempered.

Dixie received her call name when we purchased her as
a weanling from Judy Crunk in Alabama many years ago. Judy was very particular about her
breeding program and she spoke highly of Apache's Roscoe, Dixie's sire. He was a finer built
stallion with an incredibly smooth and natural gait. Her pedigree also includes Marshall Dillon,
Carbon Copy, and Sir Winston S.

This mare is an excellent mother, easy breeder, and consistent producer of colorful, well gaited
babies. Her son,
Tennessees Apache Gold, won a National Field Trial Championship for his owner
several years ago. Her foals have also frequently outgrown her, and Tennessees Apache Gold
himself grew to a whopping 17 hands.

Update:  Dixie is now being offered for sale with her 2010 filly at side.  Dixie is an easy  breeder,
easy keeper, and requires little intervention for care.  Current on worming, and hoof trims.
Produces tall foals with good minds, beautiful conformation, and strong gaiting ability.
