program at Starland Farms here in Texas,
Bad News' Grand Lady has an exemplary
pedigree. Sired by Coin Bad News and out
of a granddaughter of both 1964 WGC GLL's
Carbon Copy and 1973 WGC Delight Bumin
Around, the show ring accomplishments of
her relatives is quite impressive. Her sire,
Coin Bad News, is the sire of 7 World
Champions and 2 Reserve World Champions.
Bad News' Grand Lady has a full sibling, Traditionally Bad News, who has placed well at the
Celebration in pleasure divisions.
Aside from her pedigree, Grand Lady has beautiful conformation and gait. She has produced
several foals for us and each has had a very natural gait not requiring special shoeing or trimming
to perform.
This year we have chosen The Cookie Bandit as the stallion of choice for Grand Lady. The
Cookie Bandit is owned by Walking Proud Farms and is homozygous for both the black and
tobiano gene. We anticipate a foal with a high degree of talent and tobiano color as a special
extra.
