| At Black Birch Ranch we breed a very small number of mares each year using both our own stallion(s) and outside stallions. We select our stallions based on conformation and an excellent, family friendly disposition. Our boys will make excellent geldings and many have gone on to be just that after a year or two as a herdsire! |

He is a very personable pony to work with, very sweet and willing to please, a delightful gentleman, he loves people! | Blackbirch Sky King of Snowmane 2006 Classic Shetland Stallion ASPC 155830A Lab tested homozygous tobiano. Skyking is 41.5" tall (Shetland measurement). He is a personable pony stallion with a solid work ethic, very easy to harness, ground drive and work with. Skyking is virtually a non-spookable pony of charisma and strength. He is an excellent stallion to run in a herd, very easy-going with all ponies and horses. He should prove to be a fun pony to drive and use around the farm when folks come to visit. He will be standing at stud this next year for the first time and the first pony mare coming to him will receive a free stud service. After she settles his fee will be $100 per pony mare. Sorry, no larger ponies or horses. Mare care is $5 a day until further notice. |
